Technical Breakthrough-Stable Welding Solution For Custom Low Melting Point Fusible Link

        At the end of last year, we received a sample order from a European company to customize several copper fusible links, requiring the use of lead-free environmentally friendly copper materials and environmentally friendly 72 ℃ low melting point solder for welding.

        This is within our regular business scope. At the beginning, we didn't pay much attention to it and delivered the samples as scheduled. After the customer received them, they tested the products as soon as possible. For those common flat melting links, all the samples passed the test on the first attempt, and the customer was still very satisfied. But there is a copper tube that cannot be disconnected even after reaching the melting point during testing, it seems to be stuck. So we communicated with the client to change the gap size, but the second sample still didn't work. We suddenly realized that this difficult problem seemed not simple and must be solved as soon as possible. Later, our company established a professional team, carefully analyzed it, and communicated with the customer multiple times about the product's purpose and release method.

        We carried out in-depth analysis on the material properties of low-melting-point alloys, continuously adjusted welding temperature parameters, optimized welding operation procedures, and improved post-welding shaping and detection processes. Through dozens of iterative sampling tests and process upgrades, we successfully eliminated welding defects such as virtual welding, cracks and uneven fusion. The third batch samples have passed strict dimensional inspection, tightness testing and low-temperature melting verification, fully matching the customer's design drawings and application requirements.
